Welcome to our play-based preschool, nestled in the heart of nature! For nearly five decades, we have proudly served the Gilroy community. Our campus is surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors, where children can observe deer, turkeys, lizards, and wildflowers in their natural habitat. We believe that children are curious by nature, and our environment encourages them to explore, discover, and learn.

Our preschool is located on the beautiful grounds of The Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Rooted in Christian values, our preschool focuses on nurturing the whole child- spiritually, emotionally, socially and academically- helping each child build a strong foundation for life.  At the same time, we welcome families of all backgrounds and beliefs. We value diversity and believe children benefit from exposure to different cultures, ideas, and perspectives.

At our preschool, we understand that early education is crucial for a child’s development. That’s why we follow a play-based curriculum that encourages learning through exploration, imagination, and discovery. Play is a child’s work, and through it, children build cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. Our program also emphasizes socialization, allowing children ages three through kindergarten to interact with peers, share ideas, and develop communication skills. With experienced, passionate teachers providing personalized attention, we aim to prepare children for kindergarten with confidence and readiness, fostering positive relationships and a love of learning along the way.
